Welcome to the online SBTC Disaster Relief Intoduction Training! This training consists of three sections. See "Required Course Materials" below for the SBTC Disaster Relief manual, a copy of the presentation, as well as the files you will be required to upload upon completing the course.

SUBMIT REQUIRED DOCUMENTS

Phase I Training is required for all disaster relief volunteers and includes an introduction to Southern Baptists of Texas Disaster Relief. It will include a basic manual in selected ministry area (clean-up and recovery, communications, operations, chaplaincy, childcare or feeding) and hands on Training in selected ministry area. The yellow hat is awarded for the completion of Phase I Training. All Disaster Relief volunteers must be recertified every three years. ***ATTENTION VOLUNTEERS*** To volunteer to be trained as an SBTC Disaster Relief Volunteer, you must: (1) Be an active member of a Southern Baptist church. (2) Be at least 18 years old. (3) Be in good health. (4) Have a servant heart.
