Acts Sermon 10: The Unknown God

Acts 17 continues the narration of the second missionary journey. Following a ministry in Thessalonica and Berea, Paul arrived in Athens awaiting the missionary team from which he had been temporarily separated. While waiting he took opportunity to preach the Gospel in a city marked by rampant idolatry. Today's lesson focuses on Paul's famous sermon at Mars Hill regarding the "Unknown God." From this passage, we learn of Paul's passion for lost people, his unique approach in this situation, and most importantly, we glean valuable insight into the person and character of the God Paul preached.
